We want to ensure our beneficiaries’ voices are heard and that their lived experiences are at the heart of our service design and delivery.

Our Service User Advisory Board is made up of a group of former and current beneficiaries who generously give their time and feedback to ensure we are always providing the support our beneficiaries want and need.

Furnishing Futures’ service user advisory board is a way for women who have been supported by our services to help plan, develop and improve our services by sharing their experiences and insights with us. We want to ensure that the voices of survivors and their lived experiences are at the centre of our work, to help shape our service delivery and campaigns. 

Our board:

• Contributes to the development of Furnishing Futures’ existing and new services
• Helps co-produce elements of our service
• Co-creates a safe environment and professional space for beneficiaries to use their voices and experiences to create change.
• Works together towards policy change in social housing for survivors of domestic abuse.
• Builds connections with other service users, builds confidence and is a safe space to meet other survivors.
