Join textile artist and maker Naila Ahmad for a hands-on block printing workshop celebrating traditional techniques and mindful making.
In this relaxed and welcoming session, participants will be introduced to the art of hand block printing using hand-carved wooden blocks. Naila will guide attendees through the process, from understanding patterns and colour play to printing on fabric.
Each participant will create and take home a printed cushion cover and tote bag.
All materials are provided in this beginner friendly workshop.
These workshops are designed to be calm, creative, and inspiring just perfect for anyone looking to learn a traditional craft and enjoy a slower, more intentional creative experience.

Accessibility information
The Atrium is located in an old industrial building. We have a toilet on the ground floor but it is not wheelchair accessible and we don't have dedicated baby change facilities. We recognise that this is a significant barrier and does not reflect the welcoming, inclusive space we wish to offer. We wish this were not the case and are truly sorry if this prevents you from joining us for an event.
Additional Information
The Atrium retail store will be open from 11am, selling a range of beautiful furnishings, homewares, gifts and beauty. All proceeds from this event and from sales are in aid of Furnishing Futures charity and go directly towards our work creating healing homes for survivors of domestic abuse.
